Protests in Iraq's oil capital Basra are intensifying as six people have been killed and at least 20 wounded.
Hundreds had gathered outside a local government building to vent their frustration over the government’s inability to provide basic services.
Some demonstrators threw stones and Molotov cocktails while government forces responded with live ammunition.
