Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, led a UAE delegation to Bahrain to offer condolences on the death of Prince Khalifa bin Salman. They met Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/world/gcc/crown-prince-salman-bin-hamad-appointed-prime-minister-of-bahrain-1.1109840">Prince Salman bin Hamad</a> in Manama on Saturday. During the meeting, Sheikh Saif and Sheikh Mansour expressed the condolences of President Sheikh Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Wam reported. Prince Khalifa, whose death was announced on Wednesday, had served the country as prime minister since a year before independence in 1971, making him the longest-serving head of government in the world. The UAE delegation to Bahrain also included Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, Minister of Tolerance and Co-existence, Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, Minister of Federal Supreme Council Affairs, Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Sultan Al Dhaheri, Minister of Justice, Dr Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Ahmed Al Sayegh, Minister of State, and Mohammed Al Junaibi, Director of Presidential Protocol at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs.
