A circus bear attacked its handler during a show in Russia before an audience of horrified spectators.
The show was taking place in Olonets in the Republic of Karelia, a region in northwest Russia, according to Tass, the state-run press agency.
The bear, which was muzzled, had been performing in a circus tent full of seated viewers, including children, in an act called Clubfoot and the Garden Wheelbarrow when the attack happened.
