Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, French actor Gilles Lellouche and president of the Champs-Elysees committee Marc-Antoine Jamet lit up the renowned avenue in Paris on Sunday evening.

Large crowds gathered on the Champs-Elysees to watch as the Christmas lights were switched on.
