A cruise ship has crashed into a bridge in Bordeaux, injuring 11 people.
It is believed to have experienced electrical issues causing it to veer into the Chaban-Delmas bridge in the south-west French city.
The incident happened at 1pm on Monday while the vessel was carrying 97 people, including seven crew members.
Firefighters evacuated the ship and 11 people were taken to hospital.
It is believed three of them are seriously injured.
Most of the casualties were suffering from bruising and neck injuries.
