Coronavirus: With humans in hiding, nature takes back empty city streets - in pictures



As humans retreat into their homes as more and more countries go under coronavirus lockdown, wild animals are slipping cover to explore the empty streets of some of our biggest cities.

In India herds of cows and geese walk around New Delhi and Assam respectively, while a puma turned up in the centre of the Chilean capital Santiago, which is under curfew.

In the UK mountain goats took over the Welsh seaside town Llandudno and in the UAE, a wandering oryx was seen within the city limits of Abu Dhabi.
