RIYADH // Four members of a Saudi family were killed on Tuesday when their car hit a stray camel in the desert kingdom, the Red Crescent said.
The accident took place in the south-western region of Jazan, according to the Red Crescent statement carried by Spa state news agency.
A father, mother and their two daughters died at the scene, while their three sons suffered serious injuries, it said.
A picture published by Spa showed a dead camel lying in a pool of blood in the middle of a road blocked by police vehicles.
