DUBAI // Zayed University hosted on Sunday a workshop for academics and researchers to discuss the Dubai Expo 2020 and its themes of opportunity, mobility and sustainability.
The Expo and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research organised the workshop, the second in a series that the Expo plans to take place throughout the year.
Academics and researchers are crucial to the Expo’s ability to create constructive, robust content for the event, said Reem Al Hashimy, the UAE’s Minister of State and director general of the Expo 2020’s bureau.
The Expo is an exceptional opportunity to showcase innovative studies and theories addressing global challenges, said Dr Husam Al Ulama, director of the National Research Foundation at the ministry.
