Zakat Fund donates Dh100m to impoverished familes

ABU DHABI // The Zakat Fund has announced it has donated more than Dh100 million so far this year to help impoverished families.
Abdullah bin Aqeeda Al Muhairi, secretary general of the fund, said that the increased expenditure will allow it to provide more aid to eligible families.
The secretary general added that the role the Zakat Fund follows the vision of Sheikh Zayed, the late President of the UAE, while thanking all those who have donated to the fund.
