The Dubai Criminal Court has sentenced a 37-year-old African woman to 10 years in prison and a Dh50,000 fine after she was found guilty of trying to smuggle 2.1 kilograms of heroin, with the intent to sell it.
Public Prosecution referred her case to the court after a Dubai Customs inspector found and seized the drugs.
