DUBAI // More than 100 volunteers have joined Dubai Cares in renovating a non-profit private school in Umm Al Qaiwain.
The group renovated the Um Al Qura school to improve the educational environment for pupils. The group of volunteers took part in landscaping and painting work as well as helping to install a new playground and classroom toys.
They also provided the school with new sports and music equipment.
The move is part of the a wider volunteer programme for Dubai Cares, called Volunteer Emirates 2013.
