The UAE Under 17 national basketball team played a team of UAE-based expat All-Stars of the same age group over the weekend, winning 47-35, at the Mena Basketball Showcase at Al Wasl Sports Club in Dubai. The Fiba (International Basketball Federation) Under 17 World Cup will take place in Dubai from August 8-16, with the UAE grouped against Italy, Spain and Puerto Rico.
