Abu Dhabi Police have arrested an unemployed Arab man in his mid-20s for allegedly distributing narcotic pills to youngsters.
Col Dr Rashid Mohammad Borshid, head of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at Abu Dhabi Police, said police raided a hotel in the city where the man was staying and confiscated 6,500 pills along with 150,000 dirhams.
Lt Col Taher Al Dhaheri, Chief of the Organised Crime Section, CID, urged parents to monitor their children and watch out for any warning signs that might indicate substance abuse.
