Overnight fog will drift into Abu Dhabi on Thursday evening and it will be partly cloudy during the day as temperatures continue to cool.
Temperatures will drop as low as 23°C in Dubai overnight, falling from an average of 35°C in daylight hours across the country.
The Northern Emirates are likely to feel cooler temperatures still, falling overnight to about 19°C, with foggy patches also expected after a sunny day.
The weekend promises to be fine and clear, with daytime temperatures reaching 35°C in the capital and Dubai, and further risk of fog patches overnight on Friday.
Those headed to the beach can expect slight to moderate conditions in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman.
Similar weather conditions are forecast for Saturday, with windspeeds reaching 20 kilometres per hour in coastal areas.
