UAE weather: temperatures to drop



ABU DHABI // Thursday’s weather will be fair in general and hazy at times during the day.

There will be moderate winds, which may freshen at times over the sea and could cause dust to be kicked up at times over open areas.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said there will be a significant drop in temperatures, while the relative humidity will increase at night and early morning over some coastal areas.

In coastal areas, temperature could reach a high of 42°C and a low of 26°C. Further inland, the maximum temperature will be high at 42°C, and as low as 24°C.

Relative humidity is forecast to reach a maximum of 85 per cent over the coast and 80 over inland areas.

The sea will be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf, and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.

Residents can expect similar weather conditions on Friday and Saturday.

It will be fair to partly cloudy and hazy at times on both days. There will be moderate winds and the sea will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and light to moderate in the Oman Sea.

Relative humidity is likely to increase during the night and early morning over some internal and coastal areas.
