UAE residents were warned of strong winds off the country’s coast on Wednesday morning. The National Centre of Meteorology registered strong south-easterly to south-westerly winds and a rough sea, warning any outdoor activity goers to be aware and exercise caution. Winds speed forecasts are expected to reach 32 kilometers an hour (km/h) on the coast as well as internally and 34 km/h in the mountains. The weather will be fair to partly cloudy with an increase in clouds over the sea, the islands and towards the northern areas. Although rough at times, the sea will settle down to become moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight-to-moderate in the Oman Sea. Temperatures will reach highs of 34°C internally and lows of 9°C in the mountains with humidity peaking at 85 per cent on the coast and internal areas and dropping to 5 per cent in the mountains.
