UAE weather: Pleasant conditions to continue over the weekend

ABU DHABI// Residents can expect pleasant conditions throughout the UAE today as 44th National Day celebrations continue.

Temperatures in Abu Dhabi and Dubai are expected to reach a high of 31ºC. Overnight lows of 19ºC are expected throughout the country.

Following a cloudless morning in the capital, the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology forecasts partly cloudy weather for most of the country, with light to moderate winds.

Relative humidity is expected to increase overnight over some internal and coastal areas with a chance of fog.

Over the weekend, forecasters are expecting a drop in temperatures during the day, with strong north-westerly winds that could cause poor visibility due to rising dust.

Motorists are advised to take caution and reduce speeds when adverse conditions cause poor visibility.

Those heading out to sea can expect rough conditions in the Arabian Gulf on Friday, with moderate conditions in the Sea of Oman.
