UAE weather: Overnight fog expected across country

ABU DHABI // Forecasters have said the high humidity affecting the country means there could be fog on Monday morning.

The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology predicted hazy and cloudy weather, humidity and a slight drop in temperatures on Sunday.

The humidity would increase during the night and early morning, meaning there is a 80 to 95 per cent fog forming on roads in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, said forecasters.

On Sunday, temperatures are expected to be between 35°C and 39°C in coastal areas, 38°C and 43°C in inland areas and 27°C and 33°C in the mountains.

There will also be moderate winds, which could blow up dust, creating poor visibility in exposed areas.

The NCMS also expected rough seas in the Arabian Gulf and moderate waves in the Oman Sea.

WHAT ARE NFTs?

Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are tokens that represent ownership of unique items. They allow the tokenisation of things such as art, collectibles and even real estate.

An NFT can have only one official owner at one time. And since they're minted and secured on the Ethereum blockchain, no one can modify the record of ownership, not even copy-paste it into a new one.

This means NFTs are not interchangeable and cannot be exchanged with other items. In contrast, fungible items, such as fiat currencies, can be exchanged because their value defines them rather than their unique properties.
