Grey skies and dusty air continued to blanket parts of the UAE Sunday, prompting the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology to warn the public of limited visibility.

“NCMS warns of deteriorate of horizontal visibility to 2000 m or less at times due to dust load,” the centre tweeted.

Earlier Sunday, fog had formed in some areas over the western part of the country, decreasing visibility to just 50 metres in Liwa.

The hazy weather, partly cloudy skies and light to moderate winds are expected to continue for the next 24 hours, according to the NCMS forecast. Temperates are expected to gradually increase in the next couple of days. Sunday, the highs were forecast for up to 29 C on the coast, 33 C in the interior and 22 C in the mountains.

A misty morning can be anticipated for Monday morning as the relative humidity increases on Sunday and Monday morning over some western areas.
