The last day of April is set to be hot in the UAE with temperatures expected to reach 44°C in the coastal cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, while some relief is expected in the north with rain over some mountainous areas.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said conditions would be fair to partly cloudy in the coming days with increasing humidity overnight and early morning, causing mist over coastal areas and inland.
The lowest temperature recorded over the country this morning was 21.3°C in Jebel Jais.
Light to moderate winds are expected until Tuesday, while conditions will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Sea of Oman.
Global forecaster AccuWeather predicted hot and sunny to mostly sunny weather for the rest of the week with temperatures between 39°C and 40°C, but said it would feel like 43°C.
