UAE weather: hot and cloudy with rough seas

ABU DHABI // The weather will be hot and partly cloudy as temperatures across the country are expected to rise.

There is also a chance of rain over the eastern and southern areas of the country, the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said on Wednesday.

Meteorologists also urged UAE residents to be careful if going to the beach or doing water activities, saying the Sea of Oman will be moderate to rough, while the Arabian Gulf is expected to be moderate.

There will be an increase of humidity during the night until the next morning over the coastal areas.

Coastal areas are expected to have a maximum temperature of 40°C and minimum of 26°C, while internal areas are expected to have a maximum of 46°C and minimum of 26°C.

The lowest temperature recorded in the country on Wednesday was 26°C in Jebel Jais at 5.30am.
