UAE weather: Heat settling in for the weekend

ABU DHABI // Conditions are expected to be fair with partly cloudy skies turning hazy over some areas of the country.

Temperatures will reach highs of 45°C and lows of 20°C inland, and range between 20°C and 38°C along the coast, according to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology.

Clouds are expected to develop over eastern and the southern areas of the country.

Humidity will continue to climb with up to 90 per cent forecast along the coast and 85 per cent inland.

Lights to moderate winds, freshening at times, may cause dust to rise over exposed areas causing poor visibility. Coupled with forecast haze, motorists are advised to drive with caution.

Similar conditions will persist on Friday and Saturday.

While waters will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman on Thursday, those taking to the sea at the weekend should be careful as the sea could turn rough at times.
