The weather is due to be fair and hazy over some areas of the country on Wednesday, with light to moderate winds making the temperatures more bearable, especially over coastal areas.
Relative humidity is likely to increase overnight and into the early morning, with a chance of fog or mist formation, particularly over western areas in the early hours, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.
Seas will be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
A high of 38ºC has been forecast for coastal areas, 41ºC for internal areas and 30ºC in mountain areas.
Similar conditions are expected through Friday.
The lowest temperature recorded over the country on Wednesday morning was 20.5ºC, recorded in Raknah at 4.15am. On Tuesday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at Um Azimul, at 42ºC.
