Hot and hazy condition are forecast across the UAE on Wednesday with light rain expected in Al Ain and the south-easternmost part of the country. Visibility will be reduced to less than 1km across exposed areas as winds pick up blowing dust and sand. The National Center of Meteorology and Seismology warned residents and citizens in the eastern areas of the country to be careful when going outside. Temperatures in Abu Dhabi and Dubai will range from 30°C to 47°C. Inland temperatures will vary between 29°C and 49°C and from 26°C to 40°C in the mountains. The highest temperature recorded on Tuesday was 49.3°C in Owtaid, an area south-west of Madinat Zayed in Abu Dhabi. The “hot to very hot,” hazy and sometimes rainy conditions will persist until Sunday, forecasters said. The sea in the Arabian Gulf will be mostly calm with slightly choppier conditions expected in the Sea of Oman.
