ABU DHABI // Meteorologists put out a low-visibility warning to motorists as fog blanketed some areas between Abu Dhabi and Dubai and through Al Dhafra early this morning.
The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) cautioned motorists to be careful during the morning rush hour.
It will be relatively hot during the day, becoming hazy and partly cloudy at times, with a chance of towering clouds over the eastern mountainous areas by afternoon.
Today's weather is expected to reach a maximum of 40ºC to 46ºC in the interior, 33ºC to 40ºC on the coast, with lows of 23ºC to 28ºC in the interior and 25ºC to 29ºC on the coast, its online forecast states.
There will be light to moderate winds in general, which may freshen at times over some internal areas, causing blowing dust.
Winds today could reach 38kph an 35kph at times in the interior and coastal areas, rspectively. Relative humidity is expected to reach highs of 45 to 95 per cent in the interior and 65 to 95 per cent on the coast.
Relative humidity will increase tonight and tomorrow early morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of mist formation.

Some towering clouds may develop over the eastern mountainous areas by afternoon.
