Mist and fog have been forecast over the next two days over northern and western regions. The conditions will cause poor visibility of less than 1,000 metres at times, particularly across internal areas in the west, according to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology. The hot weather will continue throughout today with cloudy and hazy conditions persisting. The sea will be rough with fresh winds over the Arabian Gulf and moderate in the Oman Sea. Temperatures will range from 21 to 43°C in the interior regions, 24 to 39°C along the coast, 20 to 34°C in the mountains. The maximum humidity would be 70 to 95 per cent across coastal regions, between 65 to 95 per cent in internal areas and 30 to 50 per cent in the mountains. The lowest temperature recorded on Tuesday was 22°C in the Jais mountains and the highest temperature recorded was 42.3°C in Mezaira.
