AJMAN // Forecasters expect conditions to be partly cloudy and hazy over the country on Tuesday, with fresh winds over the sea.
The north-easterly to north-westerly wind over the coast will be between 18kph and 28kph, and the south-westerly to north-westerly over internal regions will range from 15kph to 25kph, said the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.
The wind will kick up sand and reduce visibility over exposed areas.
The weather bureau warned of a chance of fog, with visibility down to less than 1 kilometre over some interior areas, especially the northern region.
Temperatures will vary from 21°C to 28°C along the coast, 20°C to 38°C inland and 17°C to 24°C in the mountains, the bureau said.
It said maximum humidity will range between 65 and 85 per cent across coastal areas, 75 and 95 per cent in internal regions and 40 and 60 per cent in the mountains.
The bureau warned of rough to very rough conditions in the Arabian Gulf, and rough waves in the Sea of Oman in the afternoon.
