Tuesday is forecast to be dry with a respite from recent stormy weather, although drivers are being warned to be aware of fog and mist that could form overnight and into Wednesday.

It is expected to be cloudy for much of the day with sunny spells. Temperatures in Dubai and the Northern Emirates are expected to reach 26°C. It will be slightly warmer in Abu Dhabi at 28°C, with moderate northerly winds reaching 20kph.

A build-up of clouds may increase the chance of light showers in the late afternoon, especially in northern and western areas and islands, with overnight temperatures forecast to be slightly cooler.

Conditions will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf, although the Oman Sea is likely to be rough.

The relative humidity will increase overnight and into early morning, with mist and fog formation over some internal and western areas.

Morning traffic was running freely in Dubai, although a broken-down vehicle in Abu Dhabi was causing delays on Zayed the First Street and Sheikh Zayed Street towards Al Zahiya.
