An accident was reported in Abu Dhabi on Thursday morning on Dhafeer Street before Sultan bin Zayed 1st Street towards Khaleej Al Arabi Street.
The crash caused some tailbacks with one lane blocked and has since been opened up for vehicles.
Congestion brought traffic to a crawl in Dubai in the Green Community, Dubai Investment Park areas, Dubai Silicon Oasis towards Nad al Sheba and Al Khail Road near Umm Suqeim.
Heavy traffic was also reported in Sharjah at Kalba road near the Tawi Matraq area, and in the capital near Zayed 1st street in the Al Zahiyah area.
