The human factor is key for a successful national space programme, the head of the UAE Space Agency told an audience on Tuesday at the launch of The National’s Space Programme. One of the aims of the programme, which features two competitions for high school pupils and university students, is to get the country’s youth interested in Stem (Science, technology, engineering and maths) subjects - something that will eventually benefit the whole of the UAE, Dr Mohammed Al Ahbabi said.

- National Bonds unveiled a Golden Pension Scheme in 2022 to help private-sector foreign employees with their financial planning.
- In April 2021, Hayah Insurance unveiled a workplace savings plan to help UAE employees save for their retirement.
- Lunate, an Abu Dhabi-based investment manager, has launched a fund that will allow UAE private companies to offer employees investment returns on end-of-service benefits.
