"Our government considers it of utmost importance to support the Brazilian community in the UAE," said Mr Neto.
"We have doctors, psychiatrists and engineers as well as many staff in Emirates and Etihad.
"We would like to work together to promote the language and develop various projects."
The Brazilian Embassy has established a citizen's council to help promote Brazil in the UAE and to develop community activities.
