UAE reaffirms pan-Arab unity against terrorism after Egypt massacre

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, reaffirmed the UAE's full solidarity with Egypt against all forms of terrorism in a phone call last night to Egypt's president, Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

Sheikh Mohammed had called the Egyptian president to express his condolences for the families of the victims of the Friday mosque massacre in northern Sinai.

During the call, Sheikh Mohammed prayed that the souls of the martyrs would rest in peace and that their families would be provided with solace and patience, state news agency Wam reported. He wished the injured a speedy recovery and reinforced the importance of pan-Arab unity against terrorism.

Mr El Sisi expressed his appreciation for the call and the strong relationship between the two states.
