Two people were airlifted to hospital by the Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing Department this week after a traffic accident.
The incident happened within the vicinity of the Hakel Al Sahil area in the Western Region.
The air wing department provided first aid treatment to the two people, who were transferred to Zayed City Hospital in the Western region.
The Department's rescue airplane took off from its base at the Mirage Palace immediately after being alerted by the operations room.
