Three men have been arrested for hunting a gazelle in a restricted area in Al Ain.
The three Emiratis used a hunting dog to catch the gazelle and placed it in the boot of their car, prosecutors said.
They kept it there while training the dog in the desert and it died. They then threw the animal’s body in a bin.
A member of the Wildlife Protection Agency reported the incident.
After observing the men for some time, the hunters were caught. They confessed to hunting the gazelle and placing it in the car while they trained their dog.
The men have been referred to court.
