UAE traffic: Lane changes are the main cause of accidents



Dubai Police reminded drivers to avoid constant lane changes this morning, which it said is the main cause of road accidents. But, as of 7:30am, traffic was flowing smoothly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, according to real-time reporting provided by TomTom City.

Only one major traffic jam was reported in Abu Dhabi, at the intersection of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Highway (E12) and Hamdan Bin Mohammed Street.

In Dubai, three traffic jams tied up the intersections of:

-Sheikh Khalifa Street and E311

- Al Qusais Second and Baghdad Street (D95)

- D95 exit [61] and Beirut Street (D62)
