Sharjah experienced heavy traffic on Wednesday morning, with major roads and highways experiencing some backlog due to fog.
The E11 Abu Dhabi-Dubai Highway also experienced delays due to dense fog and mist reducing visibility on the roads.
Emirates Road was also severely congested due to an accident Dubai-bound from the Barashi area to the Sharjah-Dubai border.
Al Ittihad Road from Safeer Mall to Deira City Centre was heavily congested going into Dubai as well as from Galleria Mall in Ajman all the way to the Wasit Power Station in Sharjah.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road was also busy from Sharjah's Al Tarfa area to Dubai International Airport.
In Abu Dhabi, Salam Street was congested in both directions, as well as Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street from Sas Al Nakheel Village to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, and the Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road around Al Maqta Bridge and Al Wathba. Sweihan Road also experienced some backlog near Al Shamkha.
