ABU DHABI // About 2,000 motorists have benefited from traffic-awareness programmes organised by the Abu Dhabi Traffic and Patrols Directorate in the Western Region.
Presented in coordination with the Saaed Company and Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations, they are part of an initiative to enhance social partnership and develop traffic culture and awareness in the public and private sectors. The aim is to reduce dangerous offences that lead to traffic accidents during summer and Ramadan.
Fatigue, tiredness, tyre safety and speeding risks were among the issues covered.
