Ajman Police have urged the public to take advantage of the 50 per cent discount all traffic fines registered in the emirate, which ends on March 16. The scheme was first launched on February 3 and offered drivers the chance to slash their penalties in half, if paid between February 16 and March 16. The discount applies on all traffic offences registered in the city before January 31, 2020. The police will also cancel black points on driving license and vehicle impoundments during this period. At the time, police said the discounts have been offered to mark the platinum leadership award and 16 other honours that the police has received. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al-Nuaimi, crown prince of the emirate, ordered the discounts.
