Three people suffered moderate to severe injuries after a vehicle crashed into a lamppost in Khorfakkan.
The police station was notified at 4am Sunday of the accident in Al Luluiya.
Police investigation found that the driver N A, from Afghanistan, suddenly swerved and smashed his Mercedes into a lamppost; he had two compatriots in the car.
Sharjah Police have urged all road users to abide by traffic rules and exercise vigilance on the road.
