DUBAI // Six people have been injured in two separate traffic incidents in Dubai.
The first incident took place on Saturday on a Hessa Street bridge in which one person was seriously injured and four others sustained moderate injuries when their bus flipped over after hitting a truck,” Brig Saif Al Mazrouei, director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police, said the incident was a result of sudden swerving.
On Sunday, one person was seriously injured when their pickup lorry and a minibus collided on Emirates Road, near Al Ain Road.
The incident took place at about 2pm towards Abu Dhabi, and the two vehicles crashed on the shoulder of the road.
In the first half of this year, 13 people died when their cars flipped over, an increase from three during the same time period in 2015.
