RTA to offer driving lessons to national service students

The Licensing Agency at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has collaborated with driving institutes in Dubai to offer students enrolled in the national service military programme the opportunity to take driving lessons so that they can obtain their licenses.

Ahmed Bahrozyan, chief executive of RTA Licensing Agency, said: “We keep in high regards students affiliated to the national service programme for undertaking military service and exhibiting values of loyalty, belonging and sacrifice to their nation.

“We perceived the importance of easing the obtaining of driver licenses for recruits whose age make them eligible to hold such a license.”

Students are offered eight training sessions on weekends, with at least one-hour break after every four sessions.
