DUBAI // A traffic diversion on Al Seef Road will open a one-way route in the direction of Al Fahidi starting from Friday.
The re-routing of traffic has been discussed by the Roads and Transport Authority with Dubai Police and consulates in the area to avoid an adverse impact on exit, entry points and parking slots.
The diversion is required to complete the Al Seef marina development project.
Maitha bin Udai, chief executive of the RTA’s Traffic and Roads Agenc said the Al Seef Road detour plan aims to ensure traffic flow and safety of pedestrians. Motorists have been urged to follow signs, drive carefully and abide by speed limits by the RTA.
