Ras Al Khaimah school bus involved in collision

RAK Police's director of traffic and patrols said the driver of the light vehicle failed to maintain a safe distance from the bus.

A bus filled with school children was involved in a collision in Ras Al Khaimah on Wednesday evening.

The accident, which took place on Al Muntasir Street, was the result of tailgating, police said. The bus was carrying female students aged between seven and 12 who had finished an evening class. Although no injuries were reported, the students were taken to a local hospital for check ups.
