A marooned pleasureboat was an unlikely cause of traffic jams along Abu Dhabi Corniche on Monday.

This photo, taken at around 12.30pm opposite Landmark Tower, shows a crane moving into place to put the boat back on its trailer after it fell off.

Tailbacks went as far as the Khalidiya area of the capital while the boat was being removed, a witness said.
