SHARJAH // A 73-year-old Palestinian man was killed in a road accident in Sharjah, police said.
The man was crossing Al Taawun road from an undesignated area when he was run over by a vehicle. Police said the man died upon impact and his body was taken to Al Qasimi Hospital. They added that the case has been transferred to public prosecution.
The authorities have warned motorists to abide by the traffic laws and urged pedestrians to use designated crossing paths only.
