Partial closure of Maqta Bridge in Abu Dhabi until Saturday

Two inbound lanes of the Maqta Bridge will be closed from late on Thursday to Saturday.

The Maqta Bridge in Abu Dhabi will be partially closed from Thursday at 11pm until Saturday at 5pm.

Two fast lanes approaching Abu Dhabi are affected and are being closed for essential maintenance, Abu Dhabi Police said.

Police officials urged all drivers to be extra cautious and reduce speed.

Maqta Bridge has been undergoing maintenance over the past few weeks  and the latest is a series of closures at the weekends.
