SHARJAH // A 40-year-old Emirati man was killed and another seriously injured in a traffic accident on Tuesday, when their vehicle hit a wall.
Police and an ambulance were called to the scene, in the area between Al Thiqa bridge and the third intersection on Mohammed bin Zayed Street, at 8.15pm.
During the investigation, police discovered that the driver lost control while trying to exit a road.
The vehicle hit the central reservation and swerved to the right where it rolled over. The front of the vehicle hit the ground, causing the vehicle to flip over as its rear hit the fence wall of the Al Falah Camp. Both the driver and passenger were thrown clear of their seats.
