New road being built in Al Ain city centre

The Dh7.5m plan includes a new two-way street between the municipal roundabout and Al Khabaisi tunnel, with bus and taxi stops and a cycle path.

AL AIN // A new road system will be built in the city centre as part of a Dh7.5 million revamp project.

Al Ain Municipality said the work on Hamdan Bin Mohamed Street should be completed by the end of the year.

Al Ittihad, the Arabic-language sister newspaper of The National, reported that the plan includes a new two-way street between the municipal roundabout and Al Khabaisi tunnel, with bus and taxi stops and a cycle path.
