SHARJAH // A mother has died and her two young children and their grandmother have been injured after a crash on Friday afternoon.
The 22-year-old Syrian mother crashed into another vehicle, driven by an Asian man, near the blood bank in Sharjah.
Her two-month-old child and two-year-old son, as well as the grandmother, sustained moderate injuries and were taken to Al Qasimi Hospital. The Asian driver had similar moderate injuries.
Sharjah Police command centre was informed of the accident on university road at 3.30pm on Friday and dispatched police patrols and emergency crews to the scene.
According to police, the mother died immediately. They urged people to abide by speed limits, exercise caution and heed traffic laws to avoid tragic accidents.
