DUBAI // Thirteen people were injured when the minibus they were travelling in hit a tree.
Dubai Police said the driver lost control as the vehicle travelled along Zabeel Road in Bur Dubai at about 5.40am on Saturday.
Eight of the occupants suffered serious injuries.
Police rescue crews used hydraulic cutters to remove the doors and reach trapped passengers.
The men were taken to Rashid Hospital’s trauma ward.
